Accommodation
Stay in Dublin’s most luxurious 5-star hotel in the heart of the City Centre near to galleries, museums, and the shops, restaurants, and pubs of Grafton Street. A restoration of four Georgian townhouses, this hotel has a 2-star Michelin restaurant, pool, spa, and gym.
Located near Giant's Causeway, this old coaching inn dates back to the early 17th century. Full of character and roaring fires, if you are there on the right evening you may catch a foot-tapping traditional Irish folk band in full swing.
Your last evening is staying at the Number 1 resort in the world chosen by Conde Nast Traveller readers in 2022. The hotel is 30 mins from Shannon Airport where an international flight can be caught to the USA and beyond.
Carrick a Rede which means Rock in the Road (of the Salmon) has become one of the most popular tourist attractions on the Causeway coast.
But beyond the marvel of the rope bridge itself, lies a 350-year-old tradition of salmon fishing, with the current bag net method dating from the 19th century. Learn all about this fascinating history with a local expert.
The Harbour Bar, Portrush, is a local institution. It’s one of the oldest bars on the North Coast.
The traditional front bar offers renowned Guinness and a warm welcome. The Harbour Bar and surrounding Ramore bars and eateries were the creation of the Mcalpin's (Jane and George) who have done for Portrush what Rick Stein has done for Padstow. Unpretentious, but utterly delicious, this is food with a purpose, bursting with colour, character and calories. We recommend the Bang Bang chicken which has been on the menu for 35 years and for the sweet-toothed the desserts are stunningly arranged in a huge multi-coloured glass-fronted display.
