Highland Swing

This three day adventure takes you to the top of Scotland (well, almost), away from the crowds and noise. Golf on a former host to the Scottish Open, play on an exclusive links and challenge yourself on one of the finest links in the land.

Off the course breathe in the great outdoors, spot dolphins on the Dornoch Firth or hike and bike in the wilderness. On a recent Bravo Whisky Golf expedition our guests arrived in Dornoch in four open-topped British sports cars. We will visit and have a private guided tour of a magnificent local castle and gardens and follow this with a unique and exclusive shopping experience in a local tailor’s and emporium where you can acquire the finest Highland cashmere and tweed.

Accommodation

A sand wedge from the first tee at Royal Dornoch, Links House is the ultimate Highland retreat. The fifteen bedrooms are named after important salmon rivers of the Highlands and are all uniquely styled across three buildings: The Main House, Glenshiel and Mews.

The whisky-tasting experience with a leading Director at Gordon & MacPhail is immersive and sensory.

With a fascinating and rich heritage in the industry the Urquart family originally purchased and stored fine malts from around Scotland and now, amongst many other activities have built their own distillery- The Cairn- in the Cairngorm National Park.

An alternative to Links House

A few miles further south a former farm building has been converted by London-based Kelling Designs into a striking boutique hotel. What makes this retreat unusual, and the perfect partner for Bravo Whisky Golf is that it is the only luxury accommodation provider in the UK with its very own airfield.
