Donegal & Giant’s Causeway

It’s not easy to get to some of the magical links in the North of Ireland in County Antrim and Donegal but with Bravo Whisky Golf, you won’t have to endure 4-hour coach journeys, because that’s simply not our style. We prefer to offer our guests, a fresh perspective from the air to admire the Emerald Isle and its captivating and contrasting landscapes.

Starting in Dublin, this venture north will take you to some of the highlights of Antrim: Giant's Causeway, Carrick a Rede, Dunluce Castle, and Whiterocks. The links courses played are as varied as it gets, ranging from two of the world's most famous to the little-known but superb. The finale is a night at Adare Manor, so you depart from Shannon Airport from the lap of luxury, refreshed and invigorated.

Carrick a Rede which means Rock in the Road (of the Salmon) has become one of the most popular tourist attractions on the Causeway coast.

But beyond the marvel of the rope bridge itself, lies a 350-year-old tradition of salmon fishing, with the current bag net method dating from the 19th century. Learn all about this fascinating history with a local expert.

The Harbour Bar, Portrush, is a local institution. It’s one of the oldest bars on the North Coast.

The traditional front bar offers renowned Guinness and a warm welcome. The Harbour Bar and surrounding Ramore bars and eateries were the creation of the Mcalpin's (Jane and George) who have done for Portrush what Rick Stein has done for Padstow. Unpretentious, but utterly delicious, this is food with a purpose, bursting with colour, character and calories. We recommend the Bang Bang chicken which has been on the menu for 35 years and for the sweet-toothed the desserts are stunningly arranged in a huge multi-coloured glass-fronted display.
