Ultimate England - a private, curated golf vacation
England’s finest courses are sometimes overshadowed by the celebrated links of Scotland and Ireland, yet few destinations can rival the remarkable variety of golf found within its borders.
This private expedition takes you from Surrey’s renowned heathlands, with their firm running fairways, towering pines and swathes of purple heather, to the wild links of the North Norfolk coast and the concentration of championship courses surrounding Liverpool. Should you wish to extend your adventure, the great links of Kent, including Royal St George’s and Royal Cinque Ports, can also be incorporated.
The challenge has always been how to connect these distinct golfing regions without compromising the exclusivity, comfort and attention to detail that define a BWG expedition. Our solution is both elegant and exhilarating: a privately chartered helicopter, allowing you to travel seamlessly between courses while experiencing England’s changing landscape from the air.
Arriving through London Heathrow, your journey begins at magnificent Cliveden House, one of England’s most storied country house hotels. With London within easy reach, we can arrange private sightseeing, theatre visits and reservations at some of the capital’s finest restaurants and bars.
Your golfing adventure opens with two distinguished courses on Surrey’s celebrated Sand Belt. From there, you board your private helicopter and fly north to the remote links of Royal West Norfolk at Brancaster. Rich in tradition and fiercely individual, the course is known for its discerning membership, tidal setting and distinctive bunkers faced with historic railway sleepers. It is an authentic and wonderfully characterful expression of English links golf.
Continuing north by helicopter, you reach England’s North West, where three celebrated Royal championship courses await. You will stay in elegant rooms above Moor Hall’s three Michelin starred restaurant, combining world class golf with one of Britain’s most accomplished dining experiences. From this refined base, you can also discover Liverpool’s maritime heritage, vibrant cultural life and enduring footballing legacy.
