Partnership with Distillers One of One Charity 2023

BWG was delighted to be a travel partner for the Distillers One of One Charity Auction held at Hopetoun House (and managed by Sotheby’s) on 5 October 2023. The Distillers One of One brings together an unparalleled collection of one-off, never-to-be-repeated Scotch whiskies from Distilleries across the length and breadth of Scotland. The auction raised an amazing £2.25m for youth projects in Scotland. The ‘Stac’ (photographed above), containing a magnum (1.5ltr) of 1966 Bowmore was created by Burgess Studio in London. Inspired by Soldiers Rock, a sea stack on the West Coast of Islay, this wonderful design and rare liquid, fetched £562,000 a world record for an Islay whisky.
